Furnace oil prices are increased moderately

Furnace oil prices are increased by around Rs.200 per KL/Mt from last fortnight prices across the Indian market. Oil marketing companies revise industrial fuel oil prices for every fortnight. Furnace oil is also called as Fuel oil in the international markets. As per the latest published revised price list, Furnace oil is supplied from Visakha depo at Rs.42716/- per KL or Rs.44521/- per Mt inclusive of all taxes. Mumbai depo supplies at a price is Rs.42208/- per KL or Rs.43990/- per Mt including all taxes. Chennai depo is offering FO at the rate of Rs.42633/- per KL or Rs.44438/- per Mt. Fuel oil front month spreads were slipped by $4.85 from the starting day of the August in Singapore market. Indian rupee was depreciated against $ which needs to be factored in.
